Latest hashtag academy episode separates boys from men

Today’s challenge was the hardest challenge that the academy team would face in the whole process, playing the first team. Some managed the pressure while others crumbled.
The academy fired out of the blocks when on the 1st minute siemienczuck lofted the ball into Jake Lindsay who forced a save out of Anthony Page in the first team goal the resulting corner was then pin balled around the box and eventually cleared to safety
Academy almost led when a corner routine was played to the edge of the box but they could only sting the palms of Page
siemienczuck again went close with a shot that was well blocked by defender Danny Smith
Academy were by far the better team and again came close when Liam Mulligan blazed wide from the middle of the box
Academy had a golden chance to take the lead when former st Francis fc player Jake Lindsey won them a penalty he dusted himself off and put it down the middle of the net to make it 1-0 to the academy
The first team did draw level when a free kick was not dealt with causing youngster Joe Gregory to slot in from close range
The academy almost retained there lead when siemienczuck should have done better with his shot
siemienczuck had another chance in the 29th minute but his shot was well saved by the foot of Page
Out of the blue the first team room the lead from a corner that was unluckily nodded into his own net by Ray snares
The lead did not last long though as straight from kick off Mathew Wooldridge went in a run and crossed for Benny Fiadzimor to have a easy tap in
Benny almost had another when he drove a shot wide via a deflection
The first team almost took the lead when Sam Bantic curled a shot wide
The academy almost regained the lead with Callum Palmer charging an audacious shot over
The first team came close with a cross that sailed over the heads of everyone
The first team again came close when Bantic narrowly hit his shot wide
The academy did take the lead when Mathew Wooldridge smashed the ball in from just outside the box
The first team levelled up when George Smith capatilized on a mistake by Harrison Cole to slot home
The first team almost took the lead in the 78th minute but Cole’s big hand denied them the lead
Not long after the first team won a penalty when a long throw struck the arm of a opponent Kris Newby slotted the penalty home to make it 4-3 first team
The first team scored again when Sweet man Sam Bantic swept home
