Warwick just about scrape past bewdley in feisty encounter


Warwick made a great start when in the 7th minute Chris Mayumba was unleashed one on one, sat the keeper Down then slotted into the empty net.


They came close to doubling the lead when Eli Bako had a far post shot saved for a corner by the Bewdley keeper.


Half an hour in the Racers came again when Bako should of done better when hitting wide only for his blushes to be saved by the offside flag.


Bako was racing club Warwick’s best player furthering this cause by forcing the keeper to palm a effort wide.


Warwick doubled there lead when former Walsall youngster Dylan Parker slotted home from a cross to make the score 2-0.


The second half started brightly when Josh Parsons curled a shot narrowly wide.

Bewdley’s first chance of the match came when Kyonn Evans headed just wide.


Bewdley was handed a lifeline when they won a penalty which was stroked home by Ben Worthington.


Warwick almost extended there 2 goal lead when Cal Templeton headed a shot from a corner onto the crossbar.


The game drew to a feisty end when Josh Carpenter was sent off for violent conduct towards the end for Bewdley leaving racing club Warwick with a path into the next round vs Stourport swifts.
