Liverpool continue run of form with 2-1 win over Norwich
Today the 2nd of March Liverpool extended there 100 percent run to 11 (including penalty wins) as they endured a late run from Norwich and won 2-1
Norwich started well in the 1st minute and would have took the lead if not for a loose touch from Teemu Pukki.
Liverpool came even closer in the 8th minute when Curtis Jones pinged a shot against the bar.
The deadlock was finally broken in the 26th minute when Kostas Tsmikos whipped a ball to Divock Origi who took a touch and laid it off to Takumi Minamino to score his 10th goal for the club
12 minutes later Minamino doubled his and the clubs tally when he met a corner on the volley and arrowed it into the opposite corner
The reds started the second half well when Alex Oxlade- Chamberlain hit a shot that clipped the post and went wide
Norwich gave themselves a slight chance to force extra time when they got one back via son of a handball player Lukas Rupp
Liverpool almost retained a 2 goal lead towards the end but Diogo Jota slipped when he had a shot near goal.
